From "Just Married" to "Cheers": a Mobile Bar at a Melbourne Wedding
From "just married" to "cheers". This wedding gave us one of our favourite settings: a crisp white mobile bar against a wall of greenery, with flowers on the counter and the garden open behind it. We served joy in every glass, from the welcome drink to the last call.
How a wedding bar day runs
We arrive while the couple is still getting ready and have the bar dressed before guests walk in. Welcome drinks go out as the ceremony ends, the cocktail list opens for the reception, and the espresso martinis come out when the band does. The couple never sees a queue or an empty glass.
Built around the couple
Every wedding menu is different: a his-and-hers signature cocktail, a champagne tower for the toast, a non-alcoholic list that gets the same care. Read about our wedding and engagement bar service.
What wedding bar hire includes
- Bartenders who are RSA-certified, with a liquor licence and public liability insurance
- All stock, mixers, ice, glassware and bar tools; the branded physical bar is optional
- Arrival one to two hours before service for set-up and styling
- Pack-down, cleaning and responsible handling of beverage waste
Planning the drinks for a wedding day
Most couples choose an open bar or a drinks package with a set selection, then add a signature cocktail and a champagne tower for the toast. For a garden wedding we bring shade and keep the ice supply running on a hot day. We also plan the non-alcoholic list with the same attention, so every guest has something good in hand for the speeches.

How far ahead should we book? Two to six months is ideal, more in spring and summer; last-minute dates are worth asking about.
