Halloween Cocktail Night for the Sunbury Kangaroos Football Netball Club

No tricks, just top-shelf treats. The Sunbury Kangaroos Football Netball Club asked us to run the bar for their Halloween night, and the clubroom turned up in full costume: masks, capes and face paint, with a cocktail in every hand.

Themed cocktails done properly

A themed night works when the drinks are as good as the costumes. We built a short Halloween menu around classic bases, so each drink looked the part and still tasted like a proper cocktail. Our bartenders served from a mobile cocktail bar set up in the clubroom, keeping the queue short on a busy night.

Club events that raise the bar

Sports clubs run some of the best social nights in Melbourne, and a professional bar service makes them easier to host: licensed, insured staff, glassware and stock all handled, and a themed menu that gives the night its own identity. See what we do for sporting events and club functions.

What a club cocktail night includes

• Bartenders who are RSA-certified, with a liquor licence and public liability insurance
• All stock, mixers, ice, glassware and bar tools; the branded physical bar is optional
• Arrival one to two hours before service for set-up and styling
• Pack-down, cleaning and responsible handling of beverage waste

Planning a themed night at the club

Pick three or four themed cocktails rather than a long list: the queue moves faster and the drinks stay consistent. Decide early whether the night runs as a bar tab, a cash bar or an open bar, since that changes stock and staffing. Our bar tab and cash bar pages explain each.

Questions people ask

Can you run the bar in our clubroom? Yes. We bring the bar, or serve from yours, and we guide you if the venue needs a permit for the night.

What about guests who don't drink? Every menu carries mocktails and alcohol-free options, made with the same care as the cocktails.

How is it priced? By the drink selection, the hours of service and the set-up. Pay-per-cocktail, bottomless and pre-purchased drink counts are all available, and the quote is transparent.
